Native Plants: Ecological Restoration SuperHeroes

This Tuesday I wanted to feature native plants that are superheroes in the ecological restoration space. These plants have the ability to clean up areas contaminated by oil and petroleum products through phytodegradation and phytostimulation.

🌻Phytostimulation is when the plants break down the oil to use as nutrients for themselves vs phytostimulation which is where the nutrients are used up by bacteria around the plant's roots.
